sunshine state

I'm on the road yet again - another rodeo weekend. This time I'm in Fort Lauderdale, which believe it or not is one of the biggest rodeos. Of course the best thing is that several friends from all over are here, and more are coming in from a cruise tomorrow, so it promises to be a good time. Today was a bit of an odd day, including the pool party which is always fun but seems to end too early, but I have to admit I wasn't feeling my finest afterward. Eventually I made it out and started the night meeting up with my friend Dan at a bar that frighteningly played more Cher than I knew existed. Needless to say I felt a little out of place, but we moved on from there and the night got better as it went on. Not a bad start to the weekend.
