another revolution

I celebrated another revolution around the sun by taking a day to ride the Revolution and lots of other coasters at Magic Mountain this year. After a road trip to three parks across NJ, PA and OH earlier this year, including two parks by myself (maybe I’ll go back to post about those later) I had decided I could have a perfectly good time taking a day for myself at Six Flags. But it ended up being even better when my friend Andrew was free and wanted to join. Andrew recently got married and we haven’t had much time together in a long time, so it was good to spend the day catching up. With Fright Fest going on, the park was open til 1am. It wasn’t our original plan, but we ended up staying all the way til closing. A new birthday tradition? We’ll have to see.
