dinner and a show

I fell off the blogging habit again. Oddly enough, I've been better about snapping pics more often, just not posting them. It seems that back when I posted almost daily, it meant I filled posts often with mundane daily life or random pics, while posting less often now has created a sense that each post needs to be more significant - that's a thought I need to break myself of. Maybe this will be a start… For Thanksgiving this year, I broke my tradition (that I love) of just a simple turkey and stuffing at home and joined my friend Don for a Thanksgiving dinner with friends at his place in San Pedro. We're having another unusual heatwave here, so dinner ended up being outside, which was perfect - but the star of the show was mother nature with a pretty amazing sunset on a ridiculously clear day. Of course Don's golden retriever Sophie still gets top star billing, too, as far as I'm concerned. To top it all off, we were all sent home with leftovers. Somehow those didn't last long.
