4th on 2nd

Last night I joined my friends Rob & Jon who had a couple of us over to catch their local fireworks. This has to be the smallest crowd and most relaxed fireworks show I've seen - maybe ever. It's actually a private show put on by a local beach club, but with it by the beach, anyone can grab a seat on the sand to enjoy them too - which is exactly what we did, along with others from the neighborhood. I may have been more fascinated that they were launching from the tennis court that was so close than by the fireworks themselves. Once over it was just a casual walk up the hill back to Jon & Rob's place. No crowds, no hassle. Almost surreal, but definitely nice.
