The design blends traditional broadcast values with a contemporary edge, making the Texas star a central motif, referencing the expansive Texas sky, and introducing subtle, unexpected accents in color and form. Fast-paced editorial cuts and a textured, monochromatic logo shoot add distinctive visual rhythm, reaffirming the station’s legacy while charting a bold new direction. This project marks the final use of the historic Texas News 5 name before KXAS transitioned to NBC ownership.
