A few shots from along Lincoln Boulevard in Venice and Santa Monica. Lincoln is the main drag in the area and for some reason has a plethora of handpainted signage from one end to the other. Some of it is just plain bad, but a lot of it has some great character and is downright charming. As for the last shot (advertising squirrel underpants and - um - crabs, its not handpainted, and its obviously just for the sake of getting attention, but it still warrants a chuckle as I pass it.
