sweet overload

Seriously, I think these are the best cupcakes I've ever seen. My friend Karena posted these on her facebook page a few days ago and she gave me permission to steal them and post the story. While her kids were sleeping, she made them for a fundraising fair that their school was having last Saturday. She said her son asked her in the morning if they were for his birthday! (a month too soon.) doh. At the school fair, the cupcakes sold out instantly. (Yeah that doesn't surprise me at all.) As for the cupcakes, they are devils food with buttercream frosting. The ears are mini oreos and the eyes are sugar babies, while the nose and eyes are mini chocolate chips. Too cute to handle. Almost too cute to eat. Almost.
