derby daze

A trying day yesterday as we spend the day with ticket issues, buying from two brokers who both then didn't have the tickets when we contacted them to arrange pickup. Argh. But then a huge amount of tickets were released by the Cardinals at the last minute, so we ended up with pretty good seats at face value. Home Run Derby is always the most fun event of All Star Week, and this one didn't disappoint. Myron and I were noticing too that of all the Sll Star Games we've been to, we've ever seen the crowd so predominantly decked out in the home teams colors as they are here in St Louis. The people here have been fun and nice and a great crowd for the games. Off to find some tix for tonights game now....
