nom nom nom

It was a banner week for tweeting LA Food trucks coming near my neighborhood - two in one week. Friday, the best-named truck of them all finally came down to El Segundo - the @nomnomtruck!! I have to love the Nom Nom Truck just for its name, but the food was every bit as good as the name, so there's plenty to love. Their specialty is Banh Mi, which is a Vietnamese baguette sandwich filled with traditional vegetables and meats. I had a grilled pork one, along with a lemongrass chicken Vietnamese taco. Both were great, but the sandwich was so much better than I expected just from looking at it and reading the ingredients. It was my first Banh Mi, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I'll definitely be watching for the next time they're back in the area. Nom!!
