wild. er.

The other night I ran across a showing of the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on HBO. I was flipping though the channels looking for something to watch while working late (when everyones only showing infomercials). I had forgotten how amazingly well art directed it was, not to mention well written. Gene Wilder brilliantly walked that line of creepy and endearing like few could do. It was also interesting to notice the layers written in for adult audiences that flew over my head as a kid. Best of all was how well everything held up over time. Not a bad one to add to your Netflix list.
