Most cities have a tree lighting for Christmas. Manhattan Beach has a pier lighting. Last night the holiday lights were turned on, including the various above street holiday signage as well. Its one of those small-town things that I like about Manhattan Beach. You still know things like when the Firemans Pancake Breakfasts are or when the Santa Float is coming to your neighborhood. And don't forget - two weeks til the fireworks!
