another view

I often post photos of the ocean view from my place, and you may have noticed the tankers that are usually docked out off the coast. These are oil tankers that are either dropping off or picking up shipments to the nearby Chevron refinery. On my trip to Phoenix a couple weeks ago, I grabbed a few pics of the view from above as our plane took off from LAX. It's wild for me to see the ships from that vantage point, especially to see how large they really are. Its also interesting to find my neighborhood and place it in context of its surroundings. In the top pic, my neighborhood is right at the end of the plane's wing. View sure is different from up there.
