deep in the heart

I made it back to LA just in time to miss the snow in Dallas, but here are some more shots from the weekend. Saturday after the rodeo, we went up to my favorite place on Earth: Ponder, Texas. And of course, the highlight of Ponder is the Ponder Steakhouse (officially Ranchman's Cafe, but nobody calls it that.) They even had fried green tomatoes this time. Sunday brought more rodeo, and some rain. I miss those Texas storms. And Monday, as on Friday, my friend Myron's dog (Ernest) kept watch by the door while I worked from Myron's dining room table.
