next lap

I'm in Amsterdam.... this is a quick and frustrating leg of the journey. Oddly enough, this is where I've had the best food, but people have been the least friendly. Not what I expected. Am in a cool little hotel on a canal, can't beat the view - but the wireless doesn't extend to my room so I've spent most of the day in the hallway trying to book my Berlin leg (which is tomorrow!) Having no grasp of Berlins layout and areas made it very time consuming to research and book. So I'm off now to try to catch the Anne Frank house before it closes - not likely, but we'll see. More later (probably after I'm in Berlin)...
